SEP Conferences will be held Wednesday, November 3rd, Thursday, November 4th, and Friday, November 5th

Please sign up for a time to meet with your child(ren)’s teacher(s).

For those who do not have the internet at home, the following options are available:

• Free internet access at the Provo City Library
• Computers are available for parent use at the school in the office
• You can also call the office and set up an appointment with the secretaries (801.374.4955)

Appointment times are set 25 minutes apart, allowing for about 20 minutes to conference and 5 minutes for parents to move to and for teachers to prepare for the next appointment.

If you would rather have a conference by zoom, please indicate as you sign up.

Dual Immersion teachers will meet with parents in one of the dual classrooms, allowing parents to be able to conference with both teachers for approximately half of the appointed time.

To provide time for these conferences, school will be dismissed at 1:30 Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  After-school will not be held on those days.

To make these conferences effective, we ask the following:

1. Bring your school-age children as they are a key participant in these conferences.
2. Please leave your preschool children with a neighbor, relative or sitter, allowing you to concentrate during this important time.
3. Arrive on time in order to receive the full time allotted for you and your child.
4. If you are not able to attend at the confirmed appointment time, please call the school office (801.374.4955).  We will notify the teacher(s) who will make an effort to reschedule you at another time.

Para aquellos que no tienen internet en casa, las siguientes opciones están disponibles:

• La biblioteca de Provo tiene acceso al internet gratis
• La oficina tiene computadoras para el uso de los padres
• Pueden llamar a la oficina para hacer una cita (801.374.4955)

Las citas serán cada 25 minutos, con 20 minutos de conferencia y 5 minutos para que los padres puedan ir a su próxima cita; y para que los maestros se preparen para la cita siguiente.

Ambas clases de Doble Inmersión tendrán sus conferencias en uno do sus salones, para que los padres puedan hablar con cada maestro(a) durante la mitad del tiempo asignado.

Se necesitaría o preferiría una conferencia via ZOOM por favor indica cuando hace la cita.

Saldremos a la 1:30 p.m. el miércoles, el jueves y viernes para darle tiempo a las conferencias. No habrá clases después de la escuela esos días.

Para hacer las conferencias más efectivas, nos gustaría pedirles lo siguiente:

1. Vengan con los niños que estudian en esta escuela, ellos son participantes claves en estas conferencias.
2. Favor de dejar a sus niños pequeños con un vecino, familiar o niñera, para que ustedes puedan concentrarse durante este tiempo tan tan importante.
3. Lleguen a tiempo para poder aprovechar el tiempo que se les ha asignado con su hijo(a).
4. Si no pueden venir a la cita, favor de llamar a la oficina de la escuela (801.374.4955).  Le avisaremos al maestro(a), quien tratará de hacer otra cita con ustedes.
