Meet Ms Marsha!

We are delighted to introduce you to our dedicated and compassionate social worker, Ms. Marsha. With over 23 years of experience as a devoted wife and mother of three boys, Ms. Marsha brings a wealth of knowledge and empathy to her role as our school’s social worker. Her commitment to serving others extends beyond the school gates, making her a true superhero in our community.

Ms. Marsha is not only a dedicated social worker but also a two-time Olympian with a passion for crafting. Her athletic achievements inspire our students, reflecting her dedication and perseverance. Beyond her professional role, she loves making jam, excels at crocheting, and encourages authenticity by eschewing makeup. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, her multicultural background enriches our school community, offering unique perspectives. Ms. Marsha’s warm and approachable nature makes her a valuable asset, always ready to support those in need.

Here are just a few of the remarkable things Ms. Marsha can do for families at our school:

  1. Providing Emotional Support: Ms. Marsha is a beacon of comfort and understanding for students and their families. She offers a caring and nonjudgmental ear to those in need, creating a safe space for open dialogue.
  2. Counseling: At school, she specializes in student counseling, providing valuable support to help students navigate challenges and personal growth.
  3. Community Outreach: Ms. Marsha’s commitment to her community is unwavering. She actively seeks opportunities to make a positive impact beyond our school walls, connecting families with local resources and support networks.
  4. Educational Advocacy: For parents navigating the complex education system, Ms. Marsha is a valuable ally. She can help you understand your child’s educational needs and advocate for the appropriate support.
  5. Crisis Intervention: In times of crisis, Ms. Marsha is a dependable resource. She can assist families in finding the help they need, whether it’s related to mental health, trauma, or any other pressing issue.
