🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚨 Bike Safety Week Highlights! 🚨🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

This past week, our fourth graders took a deep dive into the world of bike safety, and boy, was it an adventure on wheels! 🚴‍♂️💨

Thanks to the amazing team at @bikeutah, our young riders mastered some crucial safety procedures to ensure their rides are smooth, safe, and filled with fun. Here are just a few of the awesome things they learned:

1️⃣ Helmet Safety First! 🪖👷‍♂️ Our future cyclists got the lowdown on why helmets are non-negotiable. Protecting those noggins is priority numero uno! 🧠🔒

2️⃣ Hand Signals for Days! 🤙✋👋 They honed their communication skills on the road with proper hand signals, ensuring everyone knows where they’re going and when they’re stopping. Talk about teamwork! 🤝🚦

3️⃣ Rules of the Road 🚦🛣️ Our mini road warriors got acquainted with the rules of the road – from stop signs to crosswalks. Knowledge is power when it comes to navigating the streets! 🚸🚗

And to cap off the week, they put their newfound skills to the test with an exciting bike ride around the neighborhood. 🏡🌳🚴‍♀️ Nothing beats the thrill of applying what you’ve learned in the real world!
