Happy November Parents!

I want to thank the PTA for the great movie night that we had in October. There were about 400 of you that attended. We loved seeing you with your families. Thank you for coming.

The reflections contest was this last month. The theme was “Look Within”. We had many students who submitted entries. The entries were so amazing. We have very creative students at Timpanogos. We will have an assembly acknowledging all the students who participated in the Reflections contest on November 18th at 2:30 in the gym.

I would like to thank the parents who are coming on Friday mornings to read with students. This is a great opportunity to help our students practice reading. Any parent is welcome! You are free to come any time between 8:30-10am and we will connect you with a class to read one-on-one with students. We need parents who speak English and Spanish. Come and help us out! We would love to see you.

The teachers had training this month on the 22nd while your children were on Fall Break. Teachers learned more about the importance of building relationships with your children as they teach them. Our teachers love your children! In a survey given to all students 3rd-6th grade 84% responded that they really feel their teacher cares about them.

November will be a busy month. This week we have Parent Teacher Conferences. It is a great time to have the focus be on your child and the great work they are doing at school.  We invite you to come and celebrate your child’s success with us. If you don’t already have a conference time, please call 801.374.4955.

Parents, I am grateful for your support and confidence in us as educators. Thank you for trusting us with your children. We love them!
