Thank you so much for your support during this crazy year. We appreciate all you are doing for your children as we work to teach them. We have a few important things for you to be aware of:

1.    Starting the week of January 25th the school schedule will change to be Monday-Friday 8:15-1:20 in person all five week days. Online supplemental help will be offered through software for your students to do at home.

2.    Teachers will no longer be asked to put assignments and videos online for students. The software options you will have at home will self-directed. (examples include; Lexia, Math Facts, Typing Club, Waggle)

3. Attendance clarification:

Attendance going forward will now be tracked and actions taken to make sure that your child is in school when they are safe to be in school. If your child has missed days without any excuse (Doctor, sick or quarantine) we will send you a letter indicating that we are showing your child has been out and ask you to contact the school.

If your child is sick, we don’t want them to come to school. 🙂 We do need them to stay home if they are symptomatic. (Fever, cough, etc.)

If your child has 10 absences in a row where you have not contacted the school, we are required to drop them from Powerschool. We will try to reach out and contact everyone who has this situation before we drop any students.

We are feeling a crunch to make sure that the students we serve are getting the education they need and want them in school every minute that it is safe to have them here.

Thank you so much for your support. If you have questions don’t hesitate to call the school.

4.    SEP conferences will be held the week of February 1-5. These will be held via Zoom. Your child’s teacher will be contacting you to make an appointment.

We love each and every one of you so much!
