Did you know that all of our teachers at Timpanogos are certified with specific skills (or are working on their certification) to teach students who are learning English as a second language? Each month we meet together to discuss practices and strategies to improve our teaching. The best part is that these skills can help all learners, not just those learning English. In these pictures, Miss Perrenoud’s 5th graders are using a language strategy that helps them deepen their understanding of a concept and expand their vocabulary.
